I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the British Election Study at the University of Manchester and an associate member of Nuffield College, University of Oxford. I also serve as a data analyst for BBC election night coverage.
I received my PhD in Sociology from New York University in 2024. My research sits at the intersection of political science and sociology, with a focus on the changing structure of public opinion and political behaviour. Using novel quantitative and experimental methods, I study patterns of political disagreement across partisan, class, religious, and generational cleavages in both the United States and Britain.
Alongside my work with the British Election Study, I have designed and fielded survey experiments examining how American and British voters evaluate political candidates under varying informational conditions. More broadly, my work explores how citizens form political judgments and how political divisions evolve over time.
My research has been funded by the Russell Sage Foundation and has been published by Public Opinion Quarterly, the British Journal of Sociology, the Journal of Elections, Public Opinion & Parties, and Sociological Methods & Research, among other journals.
